The main research I did was to find the best way to mount the finger cymbal.

First I put it on a Kolberg Crotalestifte which was OK, but one could hear the attack of the stick too loud through the stand.

I saw that the finger cymbal was touching the metal of the Crotalestifte, so I put some tape on it, (see photo), this didn't really help enough,

Finger cymbals are usually on a leather band or string, so I decided some stretch band would be the answer. Then I had to go to a sewing store to get some. Voila! And in the actual setup.

Now there is almost no attack noise at all. To keep the finger cymbal still while playing it, the stretch band had to be tied above and below.  Listen to the pure sound of the finger cymbal -
